Ruth Alice Messer Curtis, 93, of Dade City, Florida (formerly Port Tampa, Florida and originally Levittown, PA) passed away Thursday, May 25th, 2023.  Ruth was a Baptist and loved the Lord.  She enjoyed painting, gardening, reading, crossword puzzles and her Rays baseball.  She also loved the companionship of her faithful dogs over the years.  Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Lloyd Edgar Messer; her husband for 10 years, John E. Curtis; and her beautiful daughter, Pamela Adrian Woodard (2001).  Ruth is survived by her two sons, Lloyd Edgar (Nancy) Messer and Matthew Mark (D’Anne) Messer; four grandchildren, Ryan Woodard, Amy Messer, Casey (Michelle) Messer, Matthew (Emily) Messer; and three great-grandchildren Chase Messer, Reese Messer and Camryn Messer.
