May 27, 1943~September 29, 2023

Sandra Regina Beres Czerwinski, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, family member and friend,  left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on September 29th, 2023.  She was 80 years old.

Sandra, the eldest of five children, was born on May 27th, 1943, in Huntington, New York, to George and Shirley Beres. She had two children who were the light of her life, James Sean, and Traci Ann.

Sandi, as she was known to friends, loved her friends and family and most of all, a good celebration.  Her friendships ran deep, and she enjoyed her long-time career at JC Penney where she became known as “The Voice of JC Penney”.  Additionally, she was an independent businesswoman and notary public.

Sandi was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the VFW Post 7845, where she was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary Board. She was known for her vibrant social capacity, her love of dancing, swimming, going out on the water, and karaoke (“Pretty Woman” and “These Boots Were Made For Walking” were signature songs for her.) She will forever be remembered for her kind, generous heart, her boisterous laugh, and her stylish sense of fashion.

Sandra Regina Beres Czerwinski practiced her faith by following the commandment to love one another, which she did with intention and joy.  She spent her life cultivating and tending to her family, her friends, and her neighbors, all of whom will grieve her passing.  She treasured her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.  Sandra leaves behind to follow in her practice of loving kindness her son James Czerwinski, his wife Crystal and their two children Maeve and Jarek of Los Angeles, California; daughter Traci Muscavage, her husband Michael of Olive Branch, Mississippi; her sister Sharon DePietro of Chandler, Arizona; brother Jonathan George Beres of Hope Mills, North Carolina. Sandra was preceded in death by her husband James Albert Czerwinski, her parents George and Shirley Beres and brothers, George Gary Beres and Glenn George Beres. She will be dearly missed although we are comforted that many loved ones and dogs in heaven are reunited with her.

A celebration of life will be held at the Veterans of Foreign Wars-Post 7845 on December 2nd from 1pm-4pm. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory to VFW-Post 7845, 6315 Stone Road, Port Richey, FL 34668.

I am so sorry to hear of Sandy’s passing. She was one of the regulars at the JCP Lunch Bunch (which was discontinued due to Covid) We worked together at Penneys, had lots of laughs and good times! Prayers for peace for her family.

I am so sorry to hear of Sandy’s passing. She was a good friend of mine on the casino boat for many, many years. I have missed her playing Keno beside me for so many years. My prayers and thoughts are with her family at this difficult time.

Sandy was one of a kind. Unforgettable! We worked at Penney’s together. We gambled on the boat together. And we were part of the Lunch Bunch together. You will be missed but always remembered. All my prayers for your family.

Peace be with you my friend, no more pain, you’re watching over the ones you left behind. Our paths only crossed a few times but we shared many memories on the phone. We share grandchildren, my son in law and my daughter. Your daughter in law. I will miss talking with you but you’re now with God. My prayers go out to all the family you left behind, the two children Tracy and Jim, and know one more angel is looking down on them. You are missed Grandma Sandy!

So sorry to hear of Sandi’s passing. She was a sweet lady who always said hi and asked how I was doing when I had health issues. I loved when she would get up and sing at my Karaoke show at 7845. She will be Missed. Rest in Peace.
