With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Selenia Medina-Watts, 20 years old, on November 27, 2024, in Holiday, FL.
Selenia was born in Tampa FL at 9 lbs. 1 oz. She was an enthusiastic and curious child who was deeply loved by her family. She gave everyone a run for their money. She had an amazing smile and laugh. She had no problem being the center of attention. Selenia excelled in academics and was part of the JROTC program and won an award for her photography in high school.
Selenia is preceded in death by her grandparents, Maryla and Edgar Medina and Karen Watts.
She is survived by her mom, Gia Medina. Her dad and stepmom, Gary Watts Jr. and Jodi Watts. Her stepmom, Tabitha Worley. Her siblings, Kaylee Watts and Christopher Chapman. Her aunts and uncles; Kenny and Tasha Watts, Heather Watts, and Gina Warkentien. Her cousins; Lucas Warkentien, Mia Ostolaza, Ayden Watts, and Anthony Katsafaros. And her extended family with her stepmom, Tabitha.
The celebration of life service information will be provided at a later date.
Selenia is a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend. She was full of life and fire. She enjoyed make-up and art. She loved fiercely and would defend the ones she loved with everything she had. Selenia was fearless and just beginning to figure out what she wanted out of life. She was taken from us too soon and will never be forgotten. Forever in our hearts.
