Sharon Kay McGee, 73 of New Port Richey passed away on November 20, 2021. She was born in Alma, Michigan the daughter of the late Carl and Virginia (Ward) Ross. 

In her early years, Sharon worked for Michigan Supreme Court and then for Bell Helicopter. During her time at Bell, she traveled around the world to places like: Israel, Egypt, and Iran. Eventually, she moved down to Florida with her mother Virginia. Here she met the love of her life, Michael McGee. They opened McGee’s pub and Grill together in 1987. Their love story is one that seems like it should be a movie. She was the epitome of kindness and class, always looking out for the ones she loved and making sure they felt her love no matter how far. Her gift of hospitality, words of encouragement, sweet spirit and genuine affection will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her loving husband Michael McGee of New Port Richey and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her 3 brothers William, James, and Jack Ross. 

A celebration of Life will be held at: Molly Malone’s Irish Pub, 4106 Little Road, New Port Richey on Saturday November 27, 2021 from 11:00 AM till 2:00 PM. A second celebration of life will be held in Michigan at a later date.
