I am leaving a condolence for my whole family. Last week we lost a patriarch of our family. A man who once did not know how to use a stove, but towards the end of his life was baking cakes and cooking filet mignon. I credit my brother and his family for that.
A loving man, a stubborn man and a man who watched far too much TV. But he would not listen to me. See previous sentence.
What my dad really wanted was for the people he loved to be happy. I know this because of the many conversations he and I had over the years. Even when things were rough, he wanted the best for all of us.
I will miss him so very much. Even though I did not see him much anymore, I knew he was out there. And now here in my heart. Love you Dad xoxo
