Papageorge, Steve P., 78, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018. He was a resident of Homosassa, FL but was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. He is survived by his daughter, Alexandra Papageorge; twin sons, Peter and Nicholas Papageorge; as well as three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He served in the US Army and was a Disabled Veteran. He was also an avid car enthusiast, but his favorite was the corvette. Though he portrayed a rough exterior, he was a sensitive teddy bear at heart who, in addition to his family, adored his fur baby Chihuahuas. His departure is deeply felt by friends and family who loved him dearly. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, March 27th from 6-8pm at Dobies Funeral Home, Old CR 54 with a Church service on Wednesday, March 28th at 10am at St. George Greek Orthodox Church; burial to follow at Florida National Cemetery.
