Steven Bennett, born in Portsmouth, England on December 30, 1955, passed away at his home in Hudson, Fla. on May 17, 2025.
Steven is survived by his son Geoffrey Bennett, his brother Christopher (Lisa), and sister, Fiona. Nieces and nephews include: Alexander (Toni), Sedrick (Springman), Lindsey, and Chelsea. Great nephews include Dayton and Derek (Raiff). Steven was predeceased by his father, Derek Bennett and mother, Sheila Bennett.
Steven loved nature, especially manatees and dolphins; enjoyed sailing; and was obsessed with his British Football Club, Portsmouth FC. He also enjoyed American Football, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. Steven’s Triumph TR7 was his prized possession. Steven also spent many years coaching soccer. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
Services will be held in Hudson, Florida on May 29th, 2025. A celebration of life will be held in New Jersey on July 19th.

Farewell to my lovely friend Steve, I will miss spending time with you even if part of that time was watching soccer, your favorite sport!
I was very blessed to be part of your life for a short time.
