Steven B. McCay, 71, of Hudson, Florida, lost his battle with cancer on December 25th, 2021. He served in the Navy and moved to Florida in 1969. He was retired from GTE and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He was born in Alabama to James Monroe and Grace Novella McCay. He is survived by his love of seventeen years Beverly Lopata; her daughter Cassandra; son Steven B. McCay Jr. (Jennifer); daughter Stephanie Nicholson (Matt); seven grandchildren; two sisters Myra McCay Stockley and Grace Oglesby; brother Oscar Terry; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters, & four brothers.

We had many adventures together enough to write a book. I am so glad to have been a part of the story of Steve’s life. Enjoy the ride you’re free now from the pain you endured. I will miss you my brother and friend.
