Filis, Thomas 86, of Port Richey, passed away on January 25, 2021. He was born July 7, 1934 in Greece, the son of Peter and Vasiliki Filis. Thomas was predeceased by his wife of 64 years Marilyn. He is survived by daughter Betsy Eanes; son Thomas Jr. (Katherine); grandchildren John Eanes IV (Tony), Thomas Filis III, Steven Eanes, Filicia Lacerra (Nicholas); great grandchildren Gabriella Lacerra, Allicia Filis, Nicholas Lacerra.

The Saint George community is deeply saddened by the falling asleep in the Lord of Thomas Filis. We express our sincere condolences to his family and friends.

The funeral will be held privately at St. George, as several family members will be traveling in from out of state. For those not attending the service, a live stream will be available at the following link: Live Stream Service

Mr. Filis was like a grandfather to me when I was younger. Such a great kind man. He will be truly missed but he’s in a much better place than here. May he Rest In Peace 🙏🏻💙

Always will remember the kind, loving, sweetheart that he was and I will never forget his laughter. We had many of those. I know that he is in the loving hands of our Lord and Savior!
