Thomas “Tom” William Drain, Jr., 59, of New Port Richey passed away at home on October 17, 2020. Tom was born in Freemont, Ohio the son of Thomas and Carolynn (Burris) Drain. He moved to Clearwater as a small child. He was a carpenter by trade that built homes in Central Florida.

Tom is survived by his wife Christine “Chrissy” Drain; son Thomas “Tommy” William Drain III; daughter in law Abigail; granddaughter Baja; father Thomas Drain, Sr.; stepmother Judi Drain; sisters Debbie Westervelt, Tammy Seay, “Loui” Bishop, Denise Bayne; brother Anthony Drain; brother in law Andy Bishop; 8 nieces; 2 nephews; and countless other extended family.

Tom was a grandfather, father, husband, brother, and friend to many. He loved his family and his granddaughter Baja was his pride and joy. As a child, he was passionate about baseball even participating on the first Pasco county little league teams. Baseball and football were loves he passed on to his son whom he coached in baseball and helped with his PAL football teams. Tom loved to fish and do all activities on the water, especially with his son Tommy. Many summers were spent fishing and lobstering in the Florida Keys. He liked to fix things and work on computers in his spare time. He was a lover of all animals. He will be missed terribly.
