57, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away on November 28, due to lung disease. Survivors are mother Billie Poteat, of Tarpon Springs; grandchildren Damian, Jacob and Lily Stevenson of Brooksville, FL; nieces, Nikkie Banks of Midland, Michigan and Dani Mason of Florence, KY; nephew Christopher Poteat of Crestview Hills, KY, and aunt Kathy Gibson of Trinity, FL. A Florida native, Toby attended schools in Palm Harbor and Dunedin, FL. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Lee Stevenson, her father, James Paul Poteat and her brother James Bennett Poteat. She had a love for reading, the beach, and old cars.

Toby I miss you so much! You were about the best person I knew that God made, certainly the best friend. You had the best organizational skills and endless lists, & you tried your best to encourage me lol! your you drew, colored, penned I treasure; the gifts you made & the time spent together was always a Smile & a laugh, how I miss you! And the very best Grandma to your precious 3 kiddos you loved so dearly.
We were friends from Ozona & remained friends through Ohio, lost touch for a bit and many years later I look at my window and see your red El Camino driving in front of my house and I’m like oh my gosh there is Toby and it was like we never missed a beat my sweet friend. See you again though my dear sweet Toby, ♥️ you forever
