Vineta Webber, age 63, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at The Florida Hospital in Connerton, from complications related to chemotherapy. She was born September 30, 1955, in Portland Maine, to Edward and Kathleen (Meserve/Morrell) Bettany. She was a graduate of Bonny Eagle High School in Standish Maine. She married Merville “Gus†Webber Jr. on February 25, 1976. She owned and operated a restaurant with her husband in Dexter Maine for many years that was named after her daughter, called Annies, and later worked at JCPenny as an Inventory Supervisor in both Waterville Maine and Tampa Florida. Vineta truly enjoyed spending time with her family as a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who dedicated the last five years to her two beloved grandsons, Grant and Coop Erisman. She was an animal lover who rescued animals her entire life including most recently 14 cats. Vineta was kind and compassionate and loved by all. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Gus; and her daughter, Angela Erisman and husband Jeff of Tampa Florida. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Steep Falls Cemetery on Rt. 113 in Steep Falls Maine.
