Vivian J. Pondo, 94, of Largo, Florida, passed away peacefully on Feb 23, 2024.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she grew up in the Fells Point neighborhood of the city. She later moved to the Back River area of Baltimore County and enjoyed time on the water with family and friends. Her companion, Daniel Becker, gave her the nickname, “Viver from Back River.” In 2013, she moved to Palm Harbor, Florida to live with her sister, Doris.

Vivian was preceded in death by her sister less than a year ago. She is survived by her brother Eugene (Patricia) Pondo of Pinellas Park, Florida, and five nieces and nephews; Janice (Joel) of Baltimore, MD, Cindy (Gary) of Crystal Beach, FL, Mary (David) of Nashville, TN, Robert (Sheila) of Tampa, FL and James of Baltimore, MD.

A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, March 13th at 11am at St. Ignatius of Antioch Roman Catholic Church in Tarpon Springs. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Suncoast Hospice Foundation.
