William Colyn Pierce, born October 20, 1941 (79 years old) passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021. William was born in Clanton, Alabama, and later moved to Pensacola Florida where he attended Elementary, Junior High, and High School. William is survived by his daughter, Sylvia Whitfield of Palm Harbor, Florida; his son Robert C. Pierce of Weeki Wachee, Florida; brothers Gene and David Pierce of Cantonment, Florida; grandchildren Richard Whitfield, Stephanie Krout, Nicole Whitfield, and Rachael Pierce and great-grandchildren Varik and Alaric Whitfield, Rylee and Talon Flanders and Ava Whitfield.  William served honorably in the United States Army and later became a flight mechanic and line supervisor performing maintenance on military aircraft. William was laid to rest at the Florida National Cemetery through a ceremony performed by the members of the Florida National Guard. William was a devout Christian and strictly followed the teachings of the Bible, all the while loving the Lord with all his heart.
