It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of William “Bill” Ewald on June 6, 2023.
Bill, aged 95, touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.
Bill dedicated 30 years of his life to serving his country in the Air Force, achieving the rank of Chief Master Sergeant before retiring.
Following his military service, he joined Pasco County as a Personnel Manager, where he served diligently until his retirement in 1990.
Bill’s life was marked by resilience, humor, and unwavering love. He faced the losses of his parents, his first wife Natalie, his siblings, and his daughter Judy with strength and grace.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Peggy; his son Scott Ewald and daughter-in-law Jo Ellen; his son Mark Ewald and daughter-in-law Cindy; his son-in-law Tommy Petrizzi; and his stepdaughter Kristy Moller. He was a proud grandfather to Jason Ewald, Kristine Petrizzi, Savannah Moller, TJ Petrizzi, Griffin Moller, and Isabel Moller; and a great-grandfather to Archer Graves. They brought him immense joy.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Bill Ewald’s life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 2pm to 4pm at Dobies Funeral Home, 6616 Congress St., New Port Richey, Florida.
