William West age 54 passed away August 20 2019 surrounded by loving family. Bill was born in Baltimore Maryland to William and Joanne West (Schwabline ). He was a graduate of Mt St Joseph High school in 1983. Bill settled in Spring Hill Fl. Bill earned a AA degree in emergency medicine and earned his Florida State Paramedic certification in 1990. Bill worked for Sunstar Paramedics in Pinellas County and then for Florida Regional EMS in Hernando County. He attended Pasco Hernando college and earned his RN degree in 1995. He graduated from the HCC fire academy Ybor City campus in Dec 1999 and was then employed by East Lake Fire Department in Pinellas County where he started his 17 years of service. He was promoted to the rank of Driver Engineer and continued his service earning many awards a recognitions during his time there. Bill retired in 2017 after a fire service disability. Bill is survived by his loving wife and best friend Charlene and his 3 sons Jason ( Tasha ) Robert ( Jessica ) and Zachary. he was the proud Pop Pop to Camden West. He is also survived by his Mother Joanne and his Brothers Wyatt ( Missy )and Kitt as well as many other extended family. He was a member of the fire Dept union local 1158. Bill enjoyed Bowling and was a member of the Road Runners league and had a Master Boat captain license. He was a model train enthusiast as well as a ardent supporter of the Baltimore Ravens and Orioles.
