November 13, 1950~August 18, 2019

Armand “Mike” Berard, 68, passed away at home on Sunday, August 18, 2019 in Holiday, Florida. He was born November 13, 1950 to Larry Matt and Betty Hedding in Burlington, Vermont. On September 20, 1969 he married his wife Barbara Lemieux in Barre, Vermont and worked at Buttura & Sons Granite Shed in Barre. He moved his family to Holiday, Florida in 1980, where he worked as a Supervisor at Florida Rock Industries and finally retired last year from American foods in Port Richey, Florida . Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing, being a coach for kids bowling, football, Nascar and spending time with his family and friends.

Mike was filled with kindness, generosity and love. He filled many hearts with memories of a fun loving, big smile and told many jokes to keep everyone on their feet. He was the life of a party! He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need; even if it was to put a roof over their head by offering them a place to stay. He never turned down hard work and would help friends and family on all projects. He will be dearly missed by all he crossed paths with. The world was a much better place with him in it. Heaven is fortunate to have received such an amazing Angel!! His family and friends are blessed to have him watching over them and guiding them for eternity.

Mike was the best supervisors I ever had. He cared about his drivers at Florida Rock. Take care Mike on your journey.
