Casey Callaghan of Holiday Fl.
Lost her fight with addiction September 8th, 2019. Casey was born in Kingston NY to her parents, Kathleen Callaghan and Marc Gallagher on November 2nd 1981.
Devoted to her family Casey tried desperately to keep her life on track. Even in the hardest and most trying times the love of her son moved her forward. Casey was a home health aide for years bringing comfort to homebound clients and their families.
She was active in the community whether helping at events or being an email warrior, she worked toward the change she wanted to see in the world. A place that would be safe and supportive to her son Noah, her niece Angela kay, and her niece Dulcinea.
KC gave talks at schools for AIDS awareness and gave countless hours to Granny's giveaway providing Christmas joy to many. Known to be a person who would literally give you the shirt off her back this is a great loss to the community and all who knew her.
It is a devastating fact that the shadows of addiction while much smaller than the good one can bring to the world can be bigger than all of us.
Casey is survived by her son Noah Callaghan, mother Kathleen Callaghan, sister Mary Ellen heckler, cousin and godfather Paul warble, nieces Angela kay Callaghan, Carynn heckler, and dulcinea Callaghan Perez, uncle Daniel Callaghan, and Aunt Annie Callaghan and many more aunts, uncle's, and cousins.
