Joseph A Pastore

July 17, 1942~January 08, 2020

Joseph A. Pastore, 77, returned to his heavenly father on January 8, 2020. Joseph was born on July 17, 1942 in Chester, PA. His legacy includes his wife Carol Pastore and his children Michael (Ann), Robert, Jon (Diane) and Melissa, as well as ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Joseph Pastore will be missed by everyone who knew him. Known as Joe or PopPop to most, he spent his life in devotion to God and his fellow man; he truly made a positive impact on anyone who was blessed to know him. Happily married to Carol for fifty-six years, Joe left behind a legacy that reaches far beyond his own sons and daughter and will continue to impact the lives of generations to come.

Joe loved baseball, music, movies and above all, his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is surely laughing and dancing in heaven with his friends and loved ones who greeted him there. A true man of God who continually gave of himself, he taught us all that lifting up the hearts, minds and lives of others here on earth creates the most genuine love and joy. Wherever Joe went, he filled the room with smiles and fantastic memories.

Joe was a dedicated employee at General Transervice Inc. in Pennsylvania for almost 60 years. He loved his job and his work family, and he even continued to work until just days before he passed away.

Remembered fondly by all, we invite friends and family to celebrate the life and legacy of Joseph Pastore on:

Brooksville, FL 34610

or

Saturday, February 8 at 2:00 p.m.

I am so sorry for everyone's loss of “Papa Joe”. I've had the pleasure of being apart of the Pastore family & growing as his own grandchild for the last 30 yrs (of my 40) & every day was treated as his very own! Even when little he showed me how to treat & raise your family & how to be a real man & role model! I've always admired that about him & always will. I'll never forget him or the great loving person he is & he will always be my Papa Joe!! Love you all so much!!
