Cousin Alice was blessed, happy, full of life. She was a caring mother. She was a Proverbs virtuous woman with wisdom. She took care of herself. Will try to emulate her. May she rest in peace. She is with my parents having choi and chada, dolma.

It’s been a year already and I still miss my beautiful Mother beyond words. I still find it so hard to believe she’s really gone. I dream about her more and more. I simply can’t seem to grasp that she’s really never coming back. I pray I receive the blessing of Our Lord to be invited into His house so that I’ll get to be with her again and forever. I hope I’m living up to her expectations of me as her loving daughter. I strive to do that now more than ever.
She always wanted to go to Alaska. I hope someday I get to go there and bring some of her with me and scatter some of her ashes there for her. This is a tragedy I’ll never fully recover from – especially after spending the last 24 plus years with her – but with Mom’s and Our Lord’s help, maybe someday it’ll get a bit easier to cope with.
I love and miss you so much Mom.
