Arlene Beverly Sauerwine, age 73, of Tarpon Springs Florida, died on May 24^th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family at Suncoast Hospice, after a long battle with neurological complications.

Arlene was born on September 21^st, 1949, in Shamokin, PA, to Russell and Beverly Dunstan, and married James Henry Sauerwine on July 3^rd, 1970.  She was predeceased by her parents and brother, Isaac Dunstan,  surviving wife Marie, and is survived by her sister, Judy Layser and her husband Patrick.

Arlene was raised in Camp Hill, PA, and retired in Tarpon Springs Florida.  She was a graduate of Cedar Cliff High School and ran a in home childcare business for over 25 years, catering strictly to children of teachers.

Arlene was an avid Tampa Bay Lighting and Denver Broncos enthusiast, nothing got in her way of watching her favorite teams.

Arlene is survived by her loving husband, James Sauerwine, son Robert Sauerwine and daughter in law Theresa Sauerwine, and son Thomas Sauerwine and daughter in law Jennifer Sauerwine.  She had 6 grandchildren, Cory, Zach, Ryan, his wife Aurora, Jake, Trevor and Reese Sauerwine that were her ultimate pride and joy.

The family is planning to have a celebration of life in Pennsylvania and Florida so all her friends and family can come together and share memories of the wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend that she was.  She touched many people in many ways and will be greatly missed.
