March 01, 1957~December 17, 2025

In the arms of God and her loved ones, Belinda passed peacefully on December 17, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of beauty, devotion, and a love that will never fade.

Belinda Carroll Goodin was the heart of our family—a loving daughter, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose warmth, creativity, and deep love touched everyone she met.

Belinda was raised in Texas, where she spent her early years and graduated from high school. During those years, she was a majorette and a true social butterfly—full of life, laughter, and energy. She had a natural ability to draw people to her, forming friendships easily and leaving lasting impressions wherever she went. That joy, confidence, and love for connection stayed with her throughout her life.

Her journey later led her to Kentucky, where she met Bruce Goodin and together they welcomed three children. After many joyful years spent between the lake house in Texas and the mountains of Kentucky—places filled with laughter, memories, and family—Belinda eventually made her home in New Port Richey, Florida. There, she raised her children alongside their father, surrounded by her parents, sister and extended family, creating a home rich in love, creativity, and the closeness she cherished so deeply. Belinda began her career as a nurse, caring for others with the same tenderness, intuition, and compassion she gave so freely to her own family. Yet within her lived a rare and powerful artistic soul—one that many never fully realized the depth of. Belinda saw the world differently, noticing beauty where others passed by, carrying ideas within her that seemed limitless.

Her creativity was not simply a talent—it was an extension of her love. As a makeup artist, she didn’t just enhance faces; she helped people feel confident, understood, and beautiful from the inside out. The elaborate centerpieces she designed were expressions of care and intention, transforming ordinary gatherings into meaningful, unforgettable moments. Her cakes were nothing short of masterpieces—crafted with imagination, precision, and deep affection—leaving family and friends in awe, not just of her skill, but of the love poured into every detail.

Everything Belinda created carried her heart within it. Her art, like her love, was generous, expressive, and deeply personal—often more than words could explain, and sometimes more than many could fully process in the moment.

Belinda also had a gift for words. She was an intelligent and thoughtful writer who could give shape to emotion with honesty and grace. Whether through writing, design, or art, everything she touched became more meaningful because it came from her heart.

More than anything, Belinda loved her family. Being a mother was her greatest joy and proudest role. She loved her children fiercely and without condition. In time, she became lovingly known as Grandma BB and Aunt BB—roles she embraced with pure delight—showering her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews with warmth, laughter, and endless love.

Later in life, Belinda found happiness hitting the greens with her partner, Richard. Much like her father, she came to love the quiet beauty of the course, the gentle competition, and the companionship of friends. Those moments brought her peace and contentment.

Belinda was preceded in death by her beloved father, Lewis Carroll; her brother, Michael Carroll; her precious granddaughter, Annabel; and Paula Santiago, whom she lovingly raised as a little girl.

She leaves behind her cherished mother, Sylvia Carroll; her brother, Eddie Carroll (Gail Carroll); her sister, Barbara Morgan (Mike Morgan); her children, Kelli Goodin, Kala Hamilton (Kevin Hamilton), and Cody Goodin (Stacy Goodin); and the greatest lights of her life—her grandchildren: Joanah, Dakota, Alexander, Canyon, Willow, Carter, Victor, and Indigo.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Belinda. She and the Carrol family was a great friends and neighbors. We all had many hours in the summer riding unicycles or just all visiting under the street lamp in our front yards. My prayers for your family. Thankyou for being a great friend
