66, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2018 at Gulfside Hospice Heather Hill. He had bravely confronted and fought cancer. He was born August 5 1952 in Banes Cuba and resided in Hudson Florida. He is survived by his wife Cynthia Tabares, 3 daughters, Robin Chillura, Candy Dodge & Toy Aspiro. 2 brothers Rolando & Francisco Tabares and 2 sisters Nory Baker & Tania Cairo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren & great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother & father Blanca & SuitBerto Tabares. Bert was devoted to his family & a loyal friend. He was everyone’s handy man, always there when someone needed him. He truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; fishing, hanging out with friends, cooking out, watching football or just piddling around the house. There are not enough words to describe the powerful influences he made on people’s lives and just how much he is loved & missed. Though he is physically gone we take comfort in knowing he is now pain free and at peace forever, safely at home in heaven. Our sweet memories of him will love on forever. Per Bert’s wishes he will be cremated and the family will be doing a celebration of life in his memory. I recently learned of Mr Tabares' passing. I express my deepest sympathies to his family and wife who I know loved him very much. Although I only knew Mr Tabares briefly I could tell he was a good man who loved and was loved by his family and friends. My condolences .
