Betty Lou Berry, 81, of Hudson, Florida, passed away on May 18, 2026 in her home, after a long battle of multiple health complications. She was born on February 20, 1945, in Cottondale, Florida. She was the daughter of Maxie Mae Caroll Turner and Henry Turner.

Betty was known for her love and service to God. She was a member and treasurer of Hudson Church of God for many years. She enjoyed spending time with those she loved, cooking, sewing, and letting her creativity come to life. She was passionate with making ceramics and floral arrangements. Betty took pride in her role as a Mother, Homemaker, Seamstress, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

She is proceeded in death by her Husband, Robert Donald Berry of 46 years, both of her parents and all nine of her siblings.

Betty is survived by her three sons, Steve (Lynette) Beard, Jerry (Laura) Beard, Ricky Beard, her four grandchildren Kiara (Joey) Hoppes, Emilee (JT) Schellenberg, Katie, and Hayley, and her three great grandchildren, Jack Hoppes, Thomas and Jude Schellenberg, and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be held on Monday, June 1st Dobies Funeral Home, 9944 Hudson Ave, Hudson, Fl 34667 with the viewing starting at 9am and service at 9:30am. There will be a burial to follow at East Elfers Cemetery, Baillie Dr, New Port Richey, Fl 34653.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gulfside Healthcare Services.
