Carolyn Louise (Weik) McKinniss passed away peacefully October 6th, 2020. Born in Hamilton Ohio in 1938 she moved to Tarpon Springs, Florida in 1964, as a young wife and mother, where she lived in the same residence for over 50 years. Carolyn loved Elvis, the beach, chocolate, her Boston Terrier, flowers and gardening. She is predeceased by her husband Darrell McKinniss. Carolyn is survived by her two daughters Diane Tubbs of Lansing, Michigan and Kathy Parrish of Bushnell, Florida. Six grandchildren Brenda, Brad, Brittany, Amy, Christina and Donald Jr. and six great-grandchildren Riley, Avery, Willow, Codey, Coryn and Cayden all of whom she loved dearly. While Carolyn's family and many friend's grieve her loss they choose to remember her resilience and perseverance of spirit. A graveside service for family will be on October 9th at 1:15pm at Cycadia cemetery Tarpon Springs. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made in Carolyn's name to Suncoast Hospice 5771 Roosevelt Blvd Clearwater, FL 33760. Due to the current Covid conditions Carolyn's family is requesting the graveside service be limited to family and close friends.
