Catherine T. Hoppe (nee Bossom), 58 of New Port Richey passed away on July 22, 2019. Beloved wife of Mark. Loving mother of Matthew (and Dylan. Dear sister of Virgil Bossom the late AnneMarie Magliente and Claire Harvey. She will be also missed by many nieces and nephews.
Catherine Hoppe was born the fourth child to the late Virgil Bossom and Catherine Bossom in Staten Island, NY. She moved to New Port Richey in 1977. Here in New Port Richey she married her best friend Mark Hoppe in 1986. Cathy and Mark raised their two sons, Matthew and Dylan here in New Port Richey. She was heavily involved in all their sports throughout their childhood.
Cathy worked as an insurance authorization specialist for Fast MD most recently. Cathy was known to many for outgoing personality and loved spending time with family and friends. She was passionate about her favorite hobby bowling. Cathy was President of Suncoast Bowling 500 Club. She traveled all over Florida bowling in tournaments.
She will be remembered with love and laughter – a life well lived. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.

My prayers and condolences to all family members. This is a sad time for all of us. Lord, carry us through this time of grief. Cathy and I worked very close together at FAST MD. She is missed tremendously. She will always be in our hearts. She had a big heart and always thoughtful of others. Cathy, we love and miss you! You fought hard! I know you are bowling around the world now.
