Cecilia Cruz Sangalang, 91, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026. Cecile was born on November 22, 1934 in Santa Rita, Pampanga, Philippines to Homabono Ocampo and Maria Cruz. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 68 years, aeleuterio Mendoza Sangalang. She left behind her children; Rosemarie (Rudy), Alex (Val), Romerico (Bebot), Rostum (Marie) and Eleuterio Jr (Kym); eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.

Cecile moved to Holiday, Florida with Terry in 1996 after retiring from Banker’s Trust in New Jersey. She was a devout catholic and was very active in her parish, St Vincent de Paul church. She served as a Eucharistic minister for many years and led the Divine Mercy prayer group. She was deeply devoted to the Blessed Sacrament and lived her life in the presence of the Eucharist, adoring from exposition and reposition daily. She also volunteered in cleaning the church interior lovingly and with pride in what she did.

She was a true servant of the Lord. Her faith and love of God never wavered until her last breath. Her greatest desire was to see God face to face.
