Helena and Vance, God didn’t promise; days without pain, laughter without sorrow, nor sun without rain, but he did promise; strength for the day, comfort for the tears and light for the way. Dave was a wonderful husband to your mom and awesome dad to you. He loved his family very much. Those memories will never change, those are the things you’ll remember most. He’’s at Peace now knowing you’ll be there for your mom. Love you both, Barbara and Gene and family.

Helena, I'm sorry for your and Vance's loss and that your family dynamic will be changed. I know I haven't kept up on the particulars of your family since I retired, but I have been thinking of you since I discovered that we are mutually on the site of Next Door Golden Acres. We still have our birthdays and the love of books and animals in common. I will try to make the service on Friday. Love, Suzanne D.
