Ed lived a full and remarkable life, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. He is survived by his siblings, Della Jordan Claffie, James Jordan, and Darrell Jordan; his children, Dorothy Young and Rick Yorke; his daughter-in-law, Cheryl Jordan; more than a dozen grandchildren; and even more great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish his memory for years to come.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of more than 60 years, Judy Jordan, and his sons, Steve, Mike, Chucky, and Kevin.

Ed found joy in life’s simple pleasures and great adventures. Nothing made him smile quite like the rumble of the open road on his motorcycle, the thrill of racing on the sands of Daytona, or the excitement of watching a good NASCAR race. He could never get enough Westerns, and there was always room for a sweet treat, especially anything chocolate or peanut butter. Above all else, Ed treasured the time he spent with the family he loved so deeply.

Those who knew Ed will remember his stories, his quiet strength, his unwavering presence, and the countless ways he showed his love. While our hearts are heavy, we are deeply grateful for the 95 incredible years we were all blessed to have with him.

This isn’t goodbye. It’s simply, “See you at the finish line.”
