Russ Dallas (Charles Russell Dallas) was born March 28, 1946 in Knoxville, TN. Russ, age 76, went to sleep with the fishes on June 26, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Dallas; son, Chris Dallas; daughter, Leann Dallas; two stepsons, Skip and Mark Jones; and brother, Brad Dallas.
Russ was an avid fisherman. His happy place was on the water. He spent his Knoxville days on Lake Loudon and Tellico fishing for crappie and bass. After retiring from Dallas Heating & Air Conditioning he moved to Port Richey, FL where he aged gracefully fishing for redfish, tarpon, snook and trout. Russ’s family and closest friends remember him as a jokester who never met a stranger. He wasn’t afraid to ask for a Big Mac at Burger King. He frequently sent back his long island iced tea, claiming it was too weak. You will be missed, but never forgotten.

My Condolences to Carolyn and the family. I believe he is in a heavenly place with no suffering. I was very lucky to know Russ and the time we spent together when he was exercising with me at my studio. God Bless the Family.

I have many great memories fishing with Russ. The conversations we had, the jokes he told always made it a great day no matter if they were biting or not. I always knew Russ was my friend not just a client.
