Christopher “Chris” Michael Scott passed away on his 33rd birthday, April 14th, 2022, in Land O’ Lakes, FL, surrounded by family. Chris was a devoted husband of seven years to Ann Marie (Gibson); loving son of Marcia (Cousins) and Michael Scott; grandson of Judy Scott; and is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends. Chris was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Jean and William Cousins, and paternal grandfather Douglas Scott.
Chris was a 2007 graduate of Reynoldsburg High School and a 2017 graduate of University of Phoenix. Chris most recently worked as a recruiter for various government contracts supporting the military. Chris loved playing golf, watching NHL and NFL games, Disney World, watching movies, playing board games, smoking the occasional cigar, and spending time with friends and family. He will also be remembered for caring for his three cats, Vinny, Bob, and Idina, and never missing an opportunity to live his life to the fullest.
A private memorial service will be held with his family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local animal shelter or humane society.

I am so very sorry hit the loss of Chris. My heart breaks for you and Mike. I remember Chris as a baby and toddler. He was so adorable. I know his life was difficult with his diabetes. I have been saying prayers for you and Ann Marie and your family. Please know you can reach out to me day or night if you need someone to listen. We live fairly close so would love to stop by when you are ready.

To the Scott Family – Chris was such a light we went to school middle through high school together and had a great connection. We had many classes together and he was so smart! Always willing to help me and offer his assistance great guy! My deepest condolences.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Chris was one of my earliest friends from elementary school, and hearing of his loss at so young an age is tragic.
I’ll always remember you, though our time together was short you helped me learn what being a friend truly means. I hope that we can protect grasshoppers again somewhere in the future.
