The first time I worked with Clyde, he started talking and I started trying to answer his questions. I soon realized however that he didn't need me to answer him… he was just talking himself through the problem. We've worked through a lot of problems together since then but that's not what I will miss. I will miss his friendship. He had a heart of gold and was a true friend. That's something you just can't have enough of in this world. I will miss you Clyde and I will think of you often.

Though we only had a couple summer boat trips together during our times in northern Michigan, Clyde was the type of guy you instantly bonded with and I always cherished those memories. Always eager to lend a helping hand, make you laugh, and share his wisdom, Clyde taught me a lot and I’m forever grateful for that. Though we didn’t have a chance to meet, I pray for comfort for his family that he always spoke so proudly of. You will be in our family’s thoughts and prayers.
