Dale R. Smelser, 85, of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed away on September 7th, 2026.  He is survived by his wife Ying Ping Smelser; daughter Karen Lanier; granddaughter Holly Lanier; sisters Jean Lockhart and Arlene Burdick; brother Carl Smelser; stepson Oin Lei (Zhudan) China; as well as two step-grandchildren.
