October 10, 1971~October 18, 2025

Danielle Lea Collingwood (Andrews), beloved wife, mother, and grandmother (“Gigi”), was born on October 10, 1971, in Atlanta, Georgia, and passed away peacefully at home in Palm Harbor, Florida, on October 18, 2025, surrounded by love.

Danielle was a radiant soul who saw beauty and meaning in every corner of life. She loved dragonflies and butterflies, seeing in them the symbols of transformation and grace that reflected her own spirit. She felt deeply connected to nature and often found peace in the company of hawks and eagles soaring above, or the deer who came to her yard seeking safety and care. After her passing, the deer returned with their fawns and lingered near her home for two days—a silent tribute to the gentle spirit who had watched over them.

To those who knew her, Danielle was light itself—warm, compassionate, and endlessly kind. She was the love of my life, my heart, my everything. She was the sun and the rain, the laughter in a quiet moment, and the calm in life’s storms. She carried the soul of a gypsy, the heart of a hippie, and the spirit of a fairy—free, loving, and wise beyond measure.

Danielle requested no formal services. Instead, she wished for those who loved her to take time to appreciate the gifts of this green earth—to feel the breeze, watch the butterflies dance, and cherish the beauty in each day.

In lieu of flowers, please honor Danielle’s memory by donating to a cause close to your heart or by simply offering kindness to an animal in need.

Her love, her light, and her gentle spirit will forever surround those she touched—carried on the wings of dragonflies and in the whisper of every warm wind.

The full essence of my beautiful friend cannot be captured with mere words but I offer a tidbit of who she was in the following poem.

“She’s In the Sun, the Wind, the Rain” by Christy Ann Martine

She’s in the sun, the wind, the rain,
she’s in the air you breathe
with every breath you take.
She sings a song of hope and cheer,
there’s no more pain, no more fear.
You’ll see her in the clouds above,
hear her whisper words of love,
Until you are together again, listen for her song.

I was deeply saddened to learn of your loss. Danielle was always so kind and friendly, sharing pieces of her plants, which I still have, when we met outside. I will miss her neighborly check-ins. Please know that I’m thinking of you and am here if you need anything or just someone to talk to.
