My prayers and wishes for comfort to David’s family and friends. I well Rember David from the old neighborhood. Life happened. Time passed. Pleasantly, I reacquainted with David through HHS 64 class luncheons. We “caught up” and continued on having conversations that led to Cross City Fl. and Westward to the Gulf of Mexico. Chats that lead to hunting and just being in the woods were always at the fore. David you are, sadly, gone while never forgotten. RIP John F. Klay

Clark and Tracy, my deepest heart felt condolences. David was the most kindest Gentalman I’ve met, funny, witty, handsome and just happy with a smile and twinkle in his eyes. Such a loving man that made me feel like I’ve known him forever. He had a way about him that everyone he met loved him. I will miss him. But, his presence will be felt through you two every time you laugh, or a certain way you say something, I will hear him too.
Pops will always be with you, not just in your heart, but in other ways… He’ll let you know. He’s got his eye on you and is watching over you.
Pops….Spread your wing’s and fly high!

David and I hired out on two different railroads that were very competitive. In 1967 they merged and after butting heads for a little while we became fast friends that lasted all these many years. The glue that held our friendship together was our love for hunting. And we did a lot of it from one end of the state to another. One of our favorite things to do was to sit around the camp fire with friends and speak of our adventures. I can say with certainty that for myself and others is absence will loom large and his silence will be deafening. Rest in peace old friend

So sorry to hear of David’s passing. He was such a kind soul. Never heard a mean word from him no matter what. He was easy to work with and had a very nice smile.
