Donna Marie Hodgdon Pusateri, 79, passed away on August 4th, 2026, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and will forever cherish her memory.
Born on April 25th, 1947, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Donna eventually followed her heart to Florida, where she embraced the sunshine, warm weather, and the life she always dreamed of. She found joy in the simple things and treasured the time she spent with those she loved most.
Donna was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Lillian Pusateri and Anthony Pusateri, and her beloved brother, Tony “Butch” Pusateri.
Donna was a devoted mother, mother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and grandmother. She is survived by her loving daughter, Melissa Courey; her son-in-law, Mike Courey; her two beloved grandchildren, Nekolas Courey and Lilyanne Courey; her sister-in-law, Lynn Pusateri; and her nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
Donna will be remembered for her caring heart, her strength, and the unconditional love she shared with her family. Though she is no longer with us, her love, wisdom, and beautiful spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever carried in our hearts.

I cannot imagine this world without you, but here I am, trying to figure out how to be here without you. We have never been apart in 55 years. How does this work? You were the best mother and friend. You accepted me through all my changes in life and supported me, even when you did not agree. I hope your walking chance, Sasha and pepe, and playing upwards with Gram.

I’m not good at opening up but my gram was the best.
I was her favorite and she was mine.
I have countless memories but a semi-newer memory I adore..
I miss going on the back patio to drink our coffee together before I’d go do boxing practice everyday. It always felt like her voice would take the weight of the world off my shoulders. She just always knew what to say.

Donna ,You and lil took me in and treated me as family from the day melissa Introduced me to you all some 33 years ago .you never judged me and gave me all the support and love one could ever ask for .You gave Melissa and I the greatest wedding a couple could ever ask for .You supported all of my crazy ideas and new ventures .You really treated me like a son. Donna/Mom, Never got the chance to ask you about your trip back home. Glad you got to see family. Melissa, neko.lilly and Mike she loved all of you. When I would see her she always talked how good and how she felt loved by all of you.Shr appreciated each one of you. Melissa she always talked about how you did so much for her even while working and taking care of all your others duties. You will be truly miss and always remembered here on̈ earth you were loved so much by so many. Thank you for all the times we spent together and I loved you as you were my mom.
