Elda Jean Dutton Hinch passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, surrounded by her loving family.

Elda is survived by her devoted husband of nearly 60 years, Gary W. Hinch; her daughters, Michelle (Micki) Hinch Montenare and Kara Hinch Demos; her grandchildren, Jake Montenare (Elis), Joshua Montenare, and Robert George Demos IV; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Emmie and Jacob Montenare.

Born the second oldest of ten children, Elda treasured her large family and the lifelong bonds they shared. She was a woman of deep faith who found joy in spending time with family and friends, expressing her creativity through art, and dancing.

After relocating from Wisconsin to Florida in 1982, Elda continued her distinguished career before retiring as Chief of Accounting at the Bay Pines VA Hospital in St. Petersburg, where she dedicated more than 30 years of service.

Elda will be remembered for her kindness, strength, unwavering faith, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. She leaves behind a legacy of family, friendship, and compassion that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply loved, forever remembered, and immensely missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 1, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Meadows Clubhouse, 505 Anclote Blvd., Tarpon Springs, Florida. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating Elda’s remarkable life and the memories she leaves behind.
