Evangeline “Gitsa” Hourdas , 78, went home to be with the Lord on January 16th, 2022. She was a lifelong resident of Tarpon Springs, Florida. She is survived by numerous cousins and friends.

My deepest, heartfelt condolences to the family of Gitsa. Gitsa, although we haven’t seen one another in many years; those years we did share were filled with a life long of laughs and friendship. Long hours of playing cards until daylight, lots of fun at Zorbas or just hanging out at your dress shop. I’m pretty sure I was your best customer. Gitsa was a very special person, she always had a smile, the most infectious laugh and always could share the best stories. We will miss her, but know that she is now with her mom and Archie. May her beautiful memory be eternal.🙏
