Sandrovich, Frank J., Jr., 76, of New Port Richey, transcended into eternal life on May 11, 2018. Born in Ellsworth, PA to Frank and Philomena Sandrovich, he attended Wheeling University and went on to proudly serve in the United State Marine Corps. Duties included duty at the 8th & I Marine Barracks, Washington, DC followed by a Vietnam tour during the TET Offensive of “68. Frank then started a career with the Prince George’s County Maryland Police Department from which he retired with numerous commendations and The Bronze Medal of Valor. After his move to Florida, he continued his path of service as a volunteer with Gulfside Regional Hospice where he twice received the “Volunteer of the Year” award. Membership was maintained with American Legion, DAV, Marine Corps League, 8th and I Reunion Association and FOP #89. Frank was also active in the Alcoholics Anonymous Community, starting his own recovery in 2003. Frank is survived by his life companion, Karen Love; sister, Patricia; sons, Brian, Jeffrey, Frank, III, Joshua and John; daughters, Danielle, Brandy and Alissa; grandchildren, Noah, Chasity, Maddison, Brandon, Jacob, Emily, Savannah, Hollis, Ellis, Scarlett, Brier; great grandson, Carter; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald. Arrangements, military honors by Dobies Funeral Home. Interment at Grace Memorial Gardens.
