Frank was born on November 7, 1959. A true Florida native, he enjoyed fishing, boating and spending time on the water and in the woods with a metal detector. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Angela, for 47 years. He loved his children and grandchildren and always took pride in teaching them new things.
Always a hard worker, Frank began working as a roofer and heavy equipment operator at the age of 16. In his 20s, he completed the Fire Academy on nights and weekends while working full time to support his growing family. He was hired by Palm Harbor Fire Dept. in 1989 after three years of volunteer service. After 32 years, Frank retired as the Acting Fire Marshall. He also served with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission as a reserve lieutenant. He truly enjoyed patrolling the parks and beaches.
He is preceded in death by his son: Jonathan Lowman; his parents: Adrienne Powers and Frances B. Lowman; and his siblings: Barbara Harmon, Joseph Garner, & Michael Lowman.
He is survived by: his wife, Angela, his daughters: Amanda Lowman and Sara (Guideaux) Crocker, his granddaughters: Julianna Oyer and Lily Crocker, his stepfather: Clifford Powers and his sister, Angel (Donnie) Clouse as well as many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Sunday, March 8 at First Baptist Church of Elfers, 4050 Redleaf Dr, New Port Richey, FL 34652. Visitation at 2:00 pm – Service 3:00 pm.
