Merritt, Fredrick I. Jr.
of Hudson, passed away December 15, 2019. He was born in Lafayette, Indiana to Mary Rose and Irvin Merritt. He was married to Glenna Emerson Merritt for sixty five years. He leaves behind his wife, Glenna; his daughters, Debra (Donald) Sears of Tallahassee, Florida and Steven (Andrea) Merritt of Simpsonville, South Carolina; his grandchildren, Ariane, Caroline, Brittany, Rachael, and Benjamin; his sister, Bonnie Jo Merritt, of Grand Rapids, Michigan; and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Ann (Carlton) Curry. He worked for Sears for thirty five years in Indiana, Chicago, Illinois, and New Jersey; and family, not by blood- but by heart, and Rheta and John Hamming, of Winter Haven, Florida; and many other friends. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Hudson and Gideons International. Memorials may be made to Gideons International or Hernando Pasco Hospice.
