Gary W. Allison Sr. of Cuthbert, GA. passed away September 23, 2020 at the age of 70. Gary is survived by his wife Ruth Ann (Hereford) Allison, and his children Gary (Kerry) Allison Jr. and Amy Lee (Allison) Diel.

Gary was a retired deputy sheriff from the Pasco Sheriff’s Office after 30 years of law enforcement. He was born in Altoona, AL. to Oris and Agnes (Kent) Allison. Gary has three brothers, Jim, Pete (deceased), and Clint. He served in the United States Marine Corp and was a proud Marine Corporal.

He is survived also by four grandchildren, Kayla Allison, Ethan Allison, Olivia Diel and Stone Diel.

A memorial Service will be held at Dobies Funeral Homes in Hudson, FL. on October 1, 2020. Family visitation will be held from 4 pm – 6 pm, with a memorial service at 6 pm. A reception immediately following at the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) Lodge #29 (21735 YMCA Camp Road, Land O’ Lakes, FL. 34639). In the spirit of Gary W. Allison Sr. a.k.a. Cowboy, casual wear is required for the service and reception.
