Gayla Jean DeLeonard, age 71, born on June 4^th, 1954, from Anderson, Indiana, passed away on May 10th, 2026.  Gayla was known for her bright smile that lit up any room that she walked into, and her unconditional love for her children and grandchildren.

She was a force to be reckoned with, always spoke her mind, and stood up for what she believed in.  Gayla taught many of us how to treat one another, how to love, and how to stand back up when we fell.  She fought to the very end to be here longer, but was sadly taken from the world much too soon, and will be dearly missed by many.

Survived by her loving mother Norma Jean Wright, her brother Bill Wright, her children:  Michelle Fueston, Normandy Wright, Richard Schatz, Brian DeLeonard and Bradley DeLeonard, her grandchildren:  Allen Harvey, Anthony Seeberger, Kayla Scott, Austin Leondakos, Breana Leondakos, Alahnah Wright, Greysen Schatz, Brysen Schatz, Penelope DeLeonard, Gavin DeLeonard, EmberLee DeLeonard, Bryton DeLeonard, Uriah DeLeonard and Ava DeLeonard, her great grandchildren:  Aiden Seeberger, Kyla Seeberger, Bella Seeberger, Alexander Leondakos, Ethan Scott and Kayla Scott.  As well as her amazing friends that loved her dearly.  We say Goodbye to Gayla, who is now resting in the arms of the heavenly Father.  May she rest in peace.  We will miss you forever, and be grateful for you always.
