Hector Guillermo Areu, 67, of Springs Hill, Florida, passed away on June 22nd, 2024. He is survived by his mother Graciela Stewart; as well as his siblings Luis Areu, Cynthia Garcia, Ruby Wayman, and Fabiola Stewart.

Sending my deepest condolences to the family. I just received word of Hector’s passing. I talked to him in April and he never mentioned about his health, I was shocked to hear. We had great memories as kids and young adults. He was such a talent, he will be missed. I was one of his
trumpet players in the Taco Band.lots of great memories . The Band Joven also was a great memory.

I am so sorry to hear of your passing my friend I had hoped when I retired to come see you and play together one more time.
You got me stated playing when we were on KP duty ,I can’t tell you they way and impact on my life playing has been ,You stared it and encouraged me Today I am ever and for every thankful!
