Boogie will always have a special place in my heart. I can still see him long ago at a Summer Jam in Aripeka, in the wee hours of the morning when almost everyone had left or stumbled off to their tents. Boogie picked up his guitar and shredded those strings in the dark, sending intensely beautiful melodies to the moon and stars. It was magical!
The music he and my dearest friend Connie crafted together brought them to a pinnacle in their relationship that I can only imagine. My heart breaks for you, dear one. And to all his family.

Apologies for the delay in my message. The only excuse I can provide is my state of denial. It was only several weeks ago that I learned of Boogie’s illness and its severity and critical nature. Though his passing was not a surprise, it was difficult for me to believe someone so vital, so young, so loving and talented left us to mourn a wonderful husband, dad and friend. Marty and I have known and loved Connie and Boogie for many years and missed seeing them socially and professionally these past couple of years as we maintained an extremely isolated existence due to the pandemic. Boogie was by far an extraordinary artist whose passion for his trade was so evident. His and Connie’s love story is precious, and I am thinking of how their upcoming anniversary will be a day to remember so many beautiful memories of travel, family and happy events they shared. Connie, you remain in our prayers and our offer for anything you may need is always available. We love you, Marty and Nancy

Dear Connie, hope by now Boogie has found KK and they are reminiscing about times with Condo Voyeur! Imagine they’ve both found some new instruments and are putting some gigs together for the locals. Both guys will be looking for their favorite bass player, you should know that. When the mood moves you, I hope you will continue to share your talent with your friends and locals there.
