Jacob Ross Bowman born February 11,1999 in Lakeland, FL passed away April 28,2021 in St. Petersburg, FL.

Dad- Richard A. Bowman (Lori) and Mom- Toni Mathews (Brian)

Grandma- Patricia Riley Papa- John O’Brien and Grandma- Penelope Viera

The day Jacob was born he had his big sister Chelsea Bowman, Great Aunt Kelly, and Cousin Ande there at his arrival into the world.  A short time after birth we moved back to Lake City, FL. where we lived for the next 15 years. In this time life changed and Jacob gained a

Step – Dad Brian Mathews and a big brother Trenton Meadows. Jacob’s best friends were his cousin Teddy Bowman, Colton Brewer, and Garrett Sands. As a little boy he was quiet, sweet, and funny with corny jokes. Always thinking of others he even made a bottle for his baby sister Harley Mathews at age 4.

Jacob began school at Columbia City Elementary which he gained lifetime friends from there. He played T-ball, was in chorus, Cub/Boy scouts, and Suwannee Vally Sharp Shooters. When Jacob began middle school at Fort White middle school he decided he wanted to play football and that would become a lifetime love and passion. He even wanted to become a teacher and coach football. Jacob began his high school career the year we moved to Spring Hill, FL. Going to Frank W. Springstead High School and of course playing football and even tried wrestling out as well. In this time Jacob had changes on Dad’s side he gained a Step – Mom Lori Bowman and 2 step-brothers Richie Darts and Mike Darts.

Jacob fought epilepsy for the past 5 years showing the true major of the Super Hero he was and the type of fighting spirit like no other he truly was one in a million. Even after his illness he showed his family and friends strength, love, and humor on a daily.

Jacob is survived by many family and friends. He will never be forgotten and always loved.
