James E. McKillen, 83, of Hudson, Florida, passed away on August 13, 2022. James is survived by his children Catherine, and her husband Roy, James McKillen, and Sean McKillen; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister Margaret Hand.

I know how much you love me,

As much as I love you,

And each time you think of me,

I know you’ll miss me too;

So when tomorrow starts without me,

Don’t think we’re far apart,

For every time you think of me,

I’m right here, in your heart.

May God’s continuous blessings be yours

My thoughts and prayers are with Sean, Cathy Ann, and jimmy. Just know they were such great people, I could not have picked 2 people to be my aunt and uncle, my , friends, my family than the both of you. Now you 2 are on a new cruise together for eternity. Let’s just hope uncle jim got a seat next to the ice cream bar, and aunt Cathy not far from the bathroom in case you have to piddle. Love you both so much. Mike kelly

I worked with Jim and could call on him to answer questions, send help when needed and pick his brain for some of the great knowledge he had, he set me straight many a times, but always with a smile on his face and humor. My brother worked for him for a short time before having to leave due to health. My greatest respect for Jim. RIP

Jim, I will never forget when I first started with the county and you took me under your umbrella and showed me all the buildings. That was special to me. I learned a lot from you along the years and helped me be the professional I became.
God bless your family and Rest In Peace.

To Cathy Ann, Jimmy, Sean, and all the McKillen family, our sincere condolences. Gwen and I (Howard) had great times with Jim and Cathy and the kids when we lived as neighbors in Largo for 5 years. I continued knowing Jim as we worked together at Facility Mgmt. G.S. Pinellas County. We sort of lost touch with each other after my retirement in 2005, but I’ll never forget JIm. He was a hard worker, especially when I helped him build his 4 bedroom home in Hudson from scratch! Jim could always make you laugh and now I can imagine him cutting up with Cathy in heaven. Prayers, love, and hugs to all of you. Gwen and Howard Taylor
