James “Jim” Emerson Womble, 70, of New Port Richey, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and joy that touched everyone who knew him.

Jim was a good friend of my late husband, Larry and I, who both entertained at the Arbors of Safety Harbor where Jim was Activity director for many years. He brought joy to the residents. One time when I got a flat tire and had my young daughter with me, he even came to pick us up at a service station where we were stranded in order for me to do my music at the Arbors. He served as the minister at my husband’s memorial and he was a blessing to everyone he met, including Larry and I. I know he will be happy to see his wife and other family members and especially Jesus in heaven. My prayers and condolences go out to his family.
