It is with great sadness that the family of James “Jimmy” Magnetta announces his sudden passing, on Friday, February 23, 2018 in Palm Harbor, FL. Jimmy will forever be remembered for the love he showed for his family as a son, father, grandfather, and brother.
Born in Washington, PA on December 31,1958, to James and Elizabeth Magnetta, Jimmy once described his best accomplishment as becoming a father, although he made a mean coconut cream pie that was a close second.
The two things Jimmy never lacked were affection and a good punch line. Forever the ultimate jokester, he was always the life of the party, making everyone laugh and collecting many friends along the way. Jimmy will be remembered for his wit and his generosity, always willing to help anyone in need. He loved a good joke, a good night out, and his family most of all.
He is survived by his two children, son Michael Magnetta and daughter Sara Magnetta, his three grandchildren, his mother Elizabeth Magnetta, and his sister Maria Donahue. His memory will loving live on through his nephews, nieces, extended family and dear friends.
