Janice Louise Zolton, age 80, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, January 25th, 2023. Born in Saginaw, Michigan on October 5th, 1942 to the late Harry and Emma “Jane” Granville. Janice married Joseph L. Zolton on October 15th, 1960 in Bridgeport, Michigan. He pre-deceased her on April 24th, 2021.  She leaves behind three children: Sheryll (Todd) Reinhardt, New Port Richey, Florida, Joseph (Linda) Zolton of New Port Richey, Florida and Robert (Amy) Zolton of Parrish, Florida. She leaves behind five grandchildren: Heather, Emily, Rachel, Naomi, Aaron, Abigail and Mark: as well as six great-grandchildren: Jace, Madelyn, Ethan, Tobias, Olivia, and Oliver. A sister-in-law, Lois Zolton and several nieces and nephews Jan graduated from Saginaw High School in 1960. She was a teacher’s aid at Melvin Millet Learning Center for many years. She also was the director of a home for the mentally challenged. After retirement, she and Joe moved to Florida in the late 1980’s. Jan enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, bingo, going to the casino, R.V. trips and baking for family and friends. She was pre-deceased by two brothers John “Jack” Granville and Richard Granville and by grandson Joseph W. Zolton.  Jan was a dog lover especially German Shepherds. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pasco Sheriff’s K-9 Association.
